I feel like I have been in a major style rut lately! Maybe it’s the blah and rainy weather we’ve been having here in the Bay Area, but I have been feeling quite underwhelmed in the style department. Anyone else?

I have a couple of fun girls nights coming up (a dinner and a bachelorette party) and thought I would put together a little inspiration for anyone else who needs a little closet pep talk as well.

Wardrobe Essentials: The White Button Down

Something about the white button down just makes you feel instantly polished. It’s a great way to let your hair, makeup, or accessories do all the talking. Whenever I’m at a loss for what to put on, this makes me feel instantly chic with a great pair of denim, trousers, trendy skirt, etc. I blame it on my style crush on Olivia Palermo and Rachel Bilson; those two know how to work this classic look.
